Studded tyres, winter tyres and snow chains

Studded tyres may be used only during the legally prescribed seasonal period. For balanced grip and handling, winter tyres should be fitted to all wheels. Snow chains must be of an approved type; using non-approved chains is treated as failing to carry compliant chains when they are required.
