Accident prevention, conduct after an accident and motorcycle riding
Limited visibility of motorcycles
Because motorcycles have a small frontal profile, they are harder to detect at a distance and their speed can be difficult to judge. Drivers of other vehicles should look carefully for powered two-wheelers, especially at junctions and before changing direction or opening a door. Sound alone does not make a motorcyclist reliably visible.
