Vehicles permitted with an unrestricted A licence
An unrestricted category A licence authorises all motorcycles, with or without a sidecar, without the engine-capacity and power limits of A1 or A2. It also authorises motor tricycles of any power, but the rider must be at least 21 years old to drive those exceeding 15 kW. It therefore covers motorcycles over 50 cm³ even when their maximum speed exceeds 45 km/h.
