Vehicles permitted with an A2 licence
An A2 licence authorises motorcycles, with or without a sidecar, with a maximum power of 35 kW and a power-to-weight ratio not exceeding 0.2 kW/kg. The motorcycle must not be derived from a version of the same model whose power is more than twice the restricted motorcycle's power. The licence also covers vehicles permitted under A1 and AM and may be obtained from the age of 18.
