Retroreflectors

Retroreflectors are passive devices: they become visible when illuminated by another vehicle's lights and require no electrical power. Rear reflectors are red; those on the rear of trailers and carrello appendice units are red and triangular, helping identify a trailer from behind. They complement rather than replace the vehicle's lamps.
