Lighting in heavy rain or snow
Dipped headlights are compulsory outside built-up areas by day and night. During heavy rain or snowfall, use the rear fog light where the conditions meet the legal requirement and switch it off once visibility improves so that it does not dazzle following traffic. Position lights alone are not an alternative to dipped headlights while driving.
