Dipped headlights in tunnels and poor visibility
Switch on dipped headlights before entering a tunnel and keep them on throughout, regardless of how well the tunnel is illuminated. In weather that reduces visibility, use the prescribed lights so that you can see and be seen. Daytime running lights alone may not provide the required rear lighting in poor visibility.
