Pedestrians and animals on motorways
In service and parking areas, pedestrians may move normally and animals may be present only when properly controlled. On a motorway emergency lane, a pedestrian may walk only for a necessary purpose such as reaching an emergency telephone or assistance point. The exception does not permit ordinary walking or exercising animals along the motorway.
