No hitchhiking or giving lifts on motorway property
The prohibition covers the whole motorway facility, not only live traffic lanes. Commercial activity in a service or parking area requires authorisation from the road authority. Camping is permitted only in an area specifically designated for it and for the period set by that authority; an ordinary service or parking area is not automatically a campsite.
