Priority does not exclude shared liability when crossing too fast
Having priority does not remove the duty to approach and cross a junction at a prudent speed. If a driver enters at excessive speed and a collision occurs, that conduct may contribute causally and shared liability cannot be ruled out. In addition, maximum speeds on motorways and non-urban roads are not identical in every European country.
