Dangerous bend to the right

This warning sign indicates a dangerous bend to the right. Visibility may be restricted, so reduce speed according to the bend radius, road surface and condition of the vehicle. In Italian theory tests, the sign is normally placed 150 metres before the bend and may be supplemented by a 'TORNANTE' plate indicating a hairpin bend. On a two-way road with only two lanes, keep as close as possible to the right-hand edge and do not overtake. The sign does not require a right turn, indicate a series of bends, require a lane change or indicate an uphill section. It does not permit a U-turn, reversing or overtaking by entering the oncoming lane.
