Avoiding distractions and obstructions while driving

Do not place loose objects beneath the driver's seat because they may slide and interfere with the driver's movements or lodge beneath a pedal. While driving, a mobile phone may not be held or used without a permitted hands-free or headset arrangement. When carrying children, engage the child-safety lock that prevents a rear door from being opened from inside where appropriate.
