Allowing passengers to board or leave safely
Passengers should board or leave from the pavement side or, where there is no pavement, from the side away from moving traffic. Open a door only after checking that this will not endanger cyclists, pedestrians or other road users. Passengers must wait until the vehicle has come to a complete stop before getting in or out.
