Driving on snow-covered roads

On a snow-covered road, fit winter tyres to all wheels or snow chains to the driven wheels as required. Reduce speed, increase the following distance and use the accelerator, brakes and steering progressively. Because grip is limited, every manoeuvre should be anticipated and carried out gently.
