Reassessment of a driving licence

A driving-licence reassessment may be ordered when there is doubt that the holder still meets the required physical and mental fitness standards. It may be ordered by the Motor Vehicle Authority or the Prefect and may follow a road collision that caused serious injury. Depending on the reason, the holder may be required to undergo medical checks, a theory test, a practical test or the prescribed reassessment procedure.
