Compulsory helmet use on mopeds and motorcycles
An approved helmet is compulsory for riders of two-wheeled mopeds. It is also compulsory for the rider and passenger of a motorcycle that is not equipped with a safety cell and restraint systems. The requirement does not depend on age, the category of driving licence held, or the length of the journey.
