Daytime running lights and correct headlamp aim

Position lights alone are not sufficient for daytime travel on these roads. Use dipped headlights or approved daytime running lights, and keep headlamp alignment correct. Lamps aimed too low reduce the driver's view; lamps aimed too high can dazzle oncoming or preceding road users. Incorrectly fitted or unapproved bulbs can also cause glare, so use only bulbs of the prescribed type and colour.
