Approved number of vehicle occupants
Never exceed the approved seating capacity shown in the registration document. The stated number includes the driver. A passenger car may have no more than nine approved seats including the driver's seat, while motorcycles and goods vehicles have the specific capacity approved for that vehicle rather than a fixed universal number.
