The high cab and large bonnet or front structure can hide a person or two-wheeler very close to the vehicle. After stopping at traffic lights or in a queue, use every fitted mirror or camera and make the required observations before moving. Pedestrians and cyclists should never assume the lorry driver can see them when they pass close across its front.
