Road obstructions, stationary vehicles, motorways and roads outside built-up areas
Checking the area ahead and around the vehicle
Body pillars, mirrors, head restraints and the vehicle's height can hide pedestrians, cyclists or other vehicles. Scan continuously, move your head where necessary and check blind spots directly before manoeuvring. Adhesive films that impair visibility must not be applied to the windscreen or front side windows. A high driving position does not guarantee a view of low obstacles immediately around an SUV.
