Rear marker plate for heavy goods trailers
This plate is used on heavy goods trailers and semi-trailers, including those forming a road train or articulated vehicle. Its rectangular yellow field and red border distinguish it from the square red-and-white projecting-load marker and from the plate used on the rear of the heavy lorry itself. It is not fitted to buses. For the test, identify whether a rear plate refers to the towing vehicle, a trailer or a projecting load.
