Joining from an acceleration lane
Use the acceleration lane to match traffic speed, observe the main carriageway, signal and merge only into a safe gap without forcing another vehicle to change speed or lane. To leave, move into the right-hand lane in good time and enter the deceleration lane from its beginning. Signal every lane change even when traffic is light.
