Parking is a prolonged interruption during which the driver may leave
Unlike a brief stop, parking may continue over time and the driver may walk away. Before leaving, the driver must secure the vehicle against movement, unauthorised use and other foreseeable risks. Parking must still take place in a permitted position and must not create danger or obstruction.
