Do not stop where signs, signals or directional markings are obscured

A stopped vehicle must not prevent other road users from seeing a vertical sign or traffic light. Stopping is also prohibited over directional approach markings and along channelised lanes, where the vehicle would interfere with the paths established for the junction. The prohibition near a sign depends on actually obscuring it, not mere proximity alone.
