Signal every change of direction in advance
A change of direction must be signalled early enough to give other road users clear warning. When turning left from a one-way carriageway, move towards its left-hand edge unless signs or markings require another lane. During a U-turn, keep the direction indicator operating for the whole manoeuvre.
