Carriageway with cycle tracks along its sides

The cycle tracks along the sides of the carriageway are identified by yellow boundary lines and bicycle symbols. They are reserved for pedal cycles: mopeds and motorcycles may not use them to bypass congestion, even below 20 km/h. Where a permitted manoeuvre requires a driver to cross a cycle track, the driver must check carefully for cyclists and give way as required. A cycle track is not an emergency lane or a slow-vehicle lane.
