Parking except for buses

The blue P sign indicates an area where parking is permitted. The supplementary panel reading eccetto with a bus pictogram means except buses, so buses are excluded from the parking permission while other eligible vehicles may park subject to any further conditions. This does not mark a bus stop, reserved bus lane or bus parking area. Here the exception removes a category from a permission rather than exempting it from a prohibition.
