Side-facing one-way signs

The two rectangular blue signs with white arrows show the direction of one-way traffic on the intersecting road. Sign A means that the road to the left carries traffic only to the left; sign B means that the road to the right carries traffic only to the right. If a driver turns in the direction of the arrow, no vehicles should approach from the opposite direction. The sign does not itself require the turn, designate parking or authorise overtaking on the right.
