Prohibitory signs

No goods or special-purpose vehicles over 6.5 tonnes

The lorry symbol identifies the affected category and 6.5 tonnes sets its mass threshold: the prohibition covers goods vehicles and special-purpose motor vehicles above that value. Buses and motor caravans are not prohibited because they are intended to carry people. A vehicle in the affected category at or below 6.5 tonnes may pass unless another restriction applies. The sign does not warn of a public weighbridge.
