Marker panel for a projecting load

The panel must be fixed in a clearly visible position at the rearmost end of the projecting load. It is required even when the projection is small. If the load projects across the vehicle's full rear width, two panels must be fitted, one at each outer end. The panel does not identify the vehicle as a heavy goods vehicle or trailer.
