- Account data: email address, display name, protected credentials, avatar, language, and preferences.
- Learning data: answers, mistakes, timings, results, progress, XP, levels, achievements, and session history.
- Support and payment data: support messages and optional attachments, Premium and optional project-support payments, status, expiry and Stripe identifiers. PassaPatente does not store complete payment-card details.
- Technical and security data: IP address, date and time, browser, requests, errors, and cookie or privacy choices.
- Advertising and consent data: Google's services receive technical information such as the page address, IP address and browser details. With the required consent, Google and participating ad providers may also use cookie identifiers and ad interaction data.
Purposes and legal bases
- Account, learning, simulations, progress, and support are processed to perform the contract or respond to pre-contractual requests.
- Payments, accounting, withdrawal, and authority requests are processed to perform the contract and meet legal obligations.
- Security, abuse prevention, and service continuity rely on the controller's legitimate interests.
- Advertising and related measurement depend on the choices recorded in the consent panel. We request ads only with the required storage and Google provider consent; personalisation also depends on your choices. Rejecting consent means no ads. Learning data is not used to create advertising segments.
Providers and international transfers
Where necessary, Microsoft Azure provides infrastructure, storage and email; Stripe handles Premium payments, optional support payments and any existing subscriptions; Google provides optional sign-in, the consent panel and advertising. Participating ad providers are listed in the consent panel. Transfers outside the EEA use safeguards provided by the GDPR, as described in the providers' notices.
On pages with advertising and when you open privacy choices, Google's advertising and consent code loads with ad requests paused. This contacts Google and may allow it to read existing Google cookies before you choose. No ad request is sent until the required consent is available.
The consent panel identifies the participating vendors, their purposes, legal bases and storage durations. Use the panel and the Google notices below for the current provider and cookie details.
Retention
Your account, study and exam history, progress, gamification, feedback, and uploaded files are kept while the account is active. Before an account-deletion request, feedback and attachments may be kept for up to 24 months and technical logs normally for up to 90 days, subject to legal obligations, incidents, or the defence of legal claims; tax records may be kept for ten years. When you request deletion, the account is immediately locked and anonymised, then the account, the application data listed above, and uploaded files are permanently deleted. Failed cleanup at external providers is retried automatically. Only fiscal or provider records that must be retained by law may remain; copies in encrypted backups disappear through the normal backup-expiry cycle.
Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@passapatente.it, without affecting processing that was already lawful.
Open Privacy choices at any time to change or withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. If you reject consent, learning remains available without ads. Existing cookies can be deleted through your browser settings.

Under-age users
PassaPatente prepares learners for category A and B licence questions and is not specifically directed at children. If we know that an account belongs to a minor, we do not use that user's data for personalised advertising and apply the advertising partner's treatment for the known age.
Automated recommendations
Answers and progress are analysed to recommend study categories and topics and produce learning statistics. This does not create legal effects, and PassaPatente does not use learning data to create advertising segments.
Security and updates
We use technical and organisational measures proportionate to the risk. We will update this notice before material changes to purposes, providers, or advertising technologies.
