Correct disposal of antifreeze and vehicle batteries
Vehicle coolant containing antifreeze must not be poured into the sewer because it may be toxic and non-biodegradable. A discarded vehicle battery can seriously damage the environment and contaminate groundwater. When buying a new battery, the exhausted battery may be returned to the retailer for collection without an additional disposal charge.
