Compulsory corrective lenses while driving
A driver must wear the prescribed spectacles or contact lenses whenever that requirement appears on the driving licence, either written in full or represented by the applicable code. Harmonised code 01 identifies a vision-correction requirement. The obligation applies whenever the holder drives, not only at night, in poor visibility or on particular classes of road.
