Alcohol, euphoria and underestimating danger
Alcohol can produce euphoria, reduce self-control and cause a driver to underestimate danger even while believing they are performing well. Driving while intoxicated can expose the driver to serious penalties, including arrest in the cases prescribed by law. Driving is also inadvisable when a person's emotional state is significantly disturbed.
