Arranging a trailer load and storing the trailer

Use suitable restraints and distribute mass so the load remains stable during braking, acceleration and cornering. For prolonged storage, support the trailer frame so the tyres can be kept off the ground where possible. If the trailer cannot be raised, increase the tyre pressure appropriately and rotate the wheels periodically so that a different section rests on the ground, preventing flat spots. Tyre pressures for the towing vehicle and trailer follow their own specifications and need not be identical.
