Caution around young moped riders

A moped turning left may have to cross one or more streams of faster traffic travelling in the same direction, making the manoeuvre especially hazardous. Watch its position and signals, moderate speed and judge the closing distance conservatively if it begins to slow or turn unexpectedly. Compliance with your own rules does not remove the duty to anticipate foreseeable mistakes by a vulnerable rider.
