Limits on projecting loads

An indivisible load may project beyond the rear by no more than three tenths of the motor vehicle's length, while complying with all overall size and marking requirements. It may not project beyond the front. Lateral projection follows separate limits and is not allowed up to three tenths of vehicle width. Nothing may be carried or towed while dragging on the road, even if partly supported by wheels.
