Parking in spaces reserved for public transport or disabled users
Where a bus stop area is not marked on the road, the parking restriction extends for 15 metres from the stop sign. Parking there, or in a space reserved for disabled permit holders, can lead to a fine and licence-point deduction. A parking disc, hazard warning lights or a short duration provides no exemption. Do not confuse the applicable points penalty with licence suspension for obstructing a dropped kerb.
