Stopping, parking, traffic-imposed halts and moving off
No stopping or parking on bends or where signs are obscured
A stationary vehicle on or near a bend can hide approaching traffic and reduce the usable roadway. Outside built-up areas and on urban through roads, the restriction extends to the approach to the bend. Do not stop or park where the vehicle would conceal a vertical sign or traffic signal, over directional approach markings or along channelised lanes. Outside built-up areas, the prohibition also applies near junction areas, not only within them.
