A brief stop must not obstruct or endanger traffic

Choose a place where the brief stop is permitted and where the vehicle will not endanger or obstruct any road user. The driver must remain present and ready to resume driving immediately. A personal need or request for information does not override a stopping prohibition or justify blocking traffic.
