Opening vehicle doors while parked

Use mirrors and a direct check before opening any door into the path of traffic, paying particular attention to cyclists and motorcyclists. On a narrow road, check vehicles approaching from both behind and ahead before getting out. When parked on the left of a one-way urban road, remind passengers to check approaching traffic before opening their doors.
