Parking meters and parking discs

Comply with the payment or time-control system shown for the parking area. Display a paper meter ticket where required, or set the parking disc to the arrival time and place it where it is clearly visible. Do not reset the arrival time without moving the vehicle when the permitted period expires. A brief stop solely to let a passenger board or alight is stopping rather than parking, so the parking meter is not required for that momentary operation where stopping itself is permitted.
