Traffic rules, manoeuvres and driving conduct
Stopping at the right-hand edge
Check the position, distance and direction of surrounding traffic, especially bicycles, mopeds and motorcycles that may be alongside or approaching on the right. Signal the move towards the edge in good time and stop progressively in a permitted place. Use the direction indicator, not repeated headlamp flashes or the hazard warning lights as a routine signal.
