Priority to the right and leaving private property

When two vehicles arrive at the same time from different roads at an uncontrolled junction, priority normally belongs to the vehicle approaching from the right. Both drivers must moderate speed and remain ready to prevent a collision. Even if another driver fails to yield, do not insist on priority at the cost of safety. When leaving private property, proceed with particular care and slowly, especially when reversing, and give way to pedestrians and other road users. The relative width of the roads does not by itself determine priority, and leaving the property does not create a general duty to sound the horn.
