Traffic rules, manoeuvres and driving conduct
Normal road position and parallel streams of traffic
Keep to the right for normal travel unless a manoeuvre, lane marking or other rule requires a different position. Near a signal-controlled junction or one controlled by a traffic officer, vehicles may use the available lanes in parallel streams in preparation for the permitted directions. Reserved public-transport lanes remain restricted unless signs allow other traffic to use them.
