Correct road position for a right turn
Prepare a right turn by selecting the lane that permits it, moving close to the right-hand edge and operating the right direction indicator early enough to inform others. Reduce speed progressively as the turn approaches, check mirrors and blind spots, and complete the manoeuvre without danger or obstruction. Give way wherever required, including to pedestrians crossing the road you are entering; a green light does not remove that duty. Do not position on the left or circle a luminous bollard in the centre unless the signs and junction layout require that path.
