Road traffic collision

The red supplementary panel depicts two vehicles that have collided. It warns that a road traffic collision has occurred ahead and that damaged vehicles, people, emergency personnel or debris may partly obstruct the carriageway. Drivers should reduce speed, increase following distance and be prepared to stop. The panel does not indicate a slippery road, no parking or an obligation to stop and give way to the right, and it is not used only on motorways.
