Supplementary panels
Supplementary panels marking the end of a restriction
The figure compares two panels in the start, continuation and end family. Panel A uses a downward vertical arrow; panel B uses a right-pointing horizontal arrow. Both can mark the point where the rule or indication shown by the main sign ends, with the model selected according to the sign's orientation relative to the road. The arrows delimit the affected road section. They do not indicate a downhill gradient, a closed road, a mandatory direction or the beginning of the rule.
