Start of a pedestrian-only route
The circular blue sign containing a pedestrian designates a route reserved for pedestrians. The supplementary upward arrow marks the start of the section to which the instruction applies. It is not a pedestrian-crossing sign or merely a warning to proceed carefully. From this point, the route has the status specified by the main sign.
