Obstacle delineator

The reflectorised obstacle delineator is attached to or placed immediately before an obstruction within the carriageway, such as the nose of a traffic island. Its arrow or mandatory-direction symbol shows the side on which the obstacle must be passed. It is visible by reflection and is not internally illuminated. It is not an ordinary edge delineator, a separator between the carriageway and a cycle track, or advance warning of a lane reserved for buses or taxis.
